My name is Holland King. I am a tax professional and lawyer committed to helping businesses and individuals resolve their tax issues and get tax relief.
My passion is helping taxpayers exercise their rights and resolve tax matters. I have been in the tax controversy world for over 15 years, advising and defending clients on state and federal tax issues. I negotiate with the IRS to find a solution to your problem, whether it is a contentious audit or past-due taxes. I am committed to helping my clients solve their IRS or state tax problems in the manner that best suits each case. Throughout the process, I will communicate with the IRS on your behalf and work to find a path to resolution. This includes the defense of tax credits such as the Research and Development Tax Credit and the Employee Retention Credit (ERC).
I am a member of the Georgia Bar and the United States Tax Court Court Bar. The Department of Veterans Affairs has also accredited me. As a Georgia Tech alumni, I am active in the Georgia Tech Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Bar Taxation Section.
I have been published in Bloomberg Tax, the Journal of Multistate Incentives, and the Georgia State University Law Review.
The Law Office of Holland King opened in 2020 and operates primarily virtually. Most meetings will be conducted electronically, either via telephone or video conferencing. Additionally, all documents will be electronically signed and delivered to the greatest extent possible for your safety and convenience.
